- What is a private label?
Private label product are those manufactured by one company for use under another company's brand. For example, a business can buy hair products in bulk from manufacturers and add its own label and box. Most people think branding is just a name or logo, but that?s only part of the puzzle. Branding is actually the entire ?experience? or ?image? the company creates in order to differentiate itself from the competition. The name, logo, marketing materials, website, in-store experience, customer service, etc. are all part of branding. All Viva Femina privately-labeled products are of the highest quality and can be packaged to your specifications.
- What are advantages of a private label?

- I?m just a small business; why would branding be important to me?
Good branding helps differentiate your product line from the competitors. It also starts to make the product line recognizable and memorable to your customers. Over time, customers will start to create somewhat of an ?experience? from your product line and visual branding. Branding also makes your business look more professional.
- Are private label products shipped in my own packaging?
Yes. All you need to do is price them and put them on your shelves, or send them to your customers.
- Can I add R20;BarcodesR21; to my own packaging?
Yes. If you already have been registered and have barcodes, send your info with your purchase order.
- Can I change the names of the products?
Yes, you can. This is one of the most wonderful things about our labeling process as it allows you to create ames that tie into your own company brand, marketing, and services.

- Do you work with small companies?

- What is the average size of a starting line?
This is variable. Some of our clients are starting out and have tight budgets; others are well-established and carry a larger variety of product. When you're launching your brand, having a basic regiment for each hair type (including variety of textures like straight, wavy and curly) and a variety of colors is advised.
- How much does it cost?
Our in-stock pricing is highly-competitive for the marketplace. Wholesale pricing begins with 1 kg per each color and style, while private label pricing begins with 3 kg per each color and per each style. The larger your order, the lower your cost, but the total estimated cost for your project can only be determined once we have all the details such as the product(s) chosen, packaging, quantity and finishing details. Additionally, we do require that you obtain a pre-production sample of any product. In case our in-stock products don't include the exact item for which you are searching, our team can develop a product that meets your exact specifications.
- Can I purchase samples?
Yes. We support your growing business by offering a sample kit.
- Do you offer graphic design services? Can you print proffessionally? What is the cost?
We can print anything for you, including labels, packaging, boxes and all marketing materials like brochures,catalogs, posters, etc. If you need help with your artwork, our highly professional in-house design team is happy to provide you with the assistance you need to create an eye catching brand identity and one-of-a kind product label or package that will make your line stand out from the rest. The total estimated cost for your project can only be determined once we have all the details like the product(s) and packaging chosen, quantity, printing process complexity, labeling requirements and finishing details. Additionally, we do require that you obtain a pre-production sample of any product, packaging or printed material.
- How does a graphic designer come up with a particular design?
Our graphic designer will ask you in-depth questions about your company?s current market position, design budget, history, future goals, competition etc., as well your vision and preferred style and colors. The designer will also do lots of market analysis by visiting stores, online research, etc. Based on all this information, a suitable design will be developed.
- How long will it take to design my packaging?
This depends on the project as each one is unique. If you have a more complex design in mind, or don't have an available logo, the process can take longer. Typically, we can complete a project in 2-4 weeks.
- I have the artwork. Which format should I deliver to you?
We accept PDFs. Please e-mail us your artwork email@example.com Make sure that any linked artwork is embedded or included in the file structure and zipped. Printing will include a one-time plate fee and sample fee, which will be determined depending on the project. If you change your design, a new charge will be made for each new plate and sample required.
- What are the terms, and what payment methods do you offer?
For wholesale, bulk, or custom orders, we only accept wire transfers. A 50% deposit is required upon placing an order, and balance is due at time of shipment.
- What's next?
Once you confirm your project details and send us a purchase order, we will email or fax you a detailed contract. We must receive this signed contract and any other required forms along with your 50% down payment ? as well as all the other items that you will be supplying ? before we put your project on a production schedule.
- How long is the production time?
Because of our commitment to obtaining the highest quality materials at the lowest possible cost ? as well as our strict adherence to all regulations ? the average turnaround time on your custom order is 3-8 weeks. The time frame depends on the project and season and can be more or less depending on production scheduling issues, supplier delays, size of the job, or other events outside of our control. We will always do our best to set appropriate expectations, and your account representative will ensure that the process moves forward as quickly as possible.
- What about rush orders?
We always recommend planning ahead, so you'll have stock on hands. Nevertheless, emergencies do occur, and, if so, let us know what you need. We will do our best to fulfill your order.
- How can I check the status of my production run?
When you've got questions about anything concerning your order • including the status of your production run • you only need to contact one person: your account executive. To make things easier for you, we assign one person to each account as your point person in order to help you with any questions or concerns.
- What is the shipping and handling cost?
The shipping and handling cost is calculated when all packages are packed and ready to be shipped.
Please note: International shipping charges do not include applicable import duties or taxes that are due upon entry into the destination country.
- What shipping options are available for domestic shipping?
For our domestic customers, we offer many shipping options. Our most common include USPS, UPS, FedEx, box truck, and freight. We always strive to get the best prices for our customers and provide everyone with a trucking number to track your order.
- What do I need to know in regards international shipping?
At Viva Femina, we are proud to provide services and gladly distribute products throughout the world. We currently ship to over 40 countries worldwide by FedEx, USPS, & UPS.
Please note: If shipping internationally, please advise our team as to the required paperwork for importing to your country as each country holds its own regulations. The earlier you provide such information, the more timely the delivery of all goods will be.

- Why do I need a Tax Identification number?
Our private labeling prices are set especially for wholesalers and retailers; therefore, we require you to have a tax identification number in order to complete your purchase.

- We already have a supplier. Why should we do business with you also?
Although you may be quite happy with the service provided by your current hair products supplier, it is always advisable to have at least one backup supplier for many reasons. A backup supplier is one that does not supply the bulk of your product line but, perhaps, one or two products. By giving a supplier some business, even if it is not a lot, you can develop a relationship that provides a safety net if something should happen to your primary supplier.
